Bring on 2012

Dear gorgeous, fun loving clients,

I wanted to thank all my clients for being so great! For letting me laugh with you, goof with you, and above all capture you and your beautiful families. I love seeing familiar faces and watching your children grow up. It is truly something I cherish as a photographer, the opportunity we have to get a glimpse of happiness through their lives. We are all so blessed!

2011 was a big movement for me, I felt like I had challenged myself and it has paid off. It's always a learning experience and I am loving this journey. There isn't a shoot I am at that I don't learn something new whether about myself, the clients, my camera, and just the art of photography. Here is to a beautiful year in 2012! To all of us. May you all find your Beautiful Passion!

I have a lot planned for 2012, I am hoping you all will be apart of it again. I am working toward a new logo and look for Beautiful Passion Photography and I am super excited. I feel like I have developed my style and want something that goes with it. So look for more changes to be made. Who knows....maybe a contest will be in order and a photo shoot give away.

My Niece turns 8

My gorgeous niece turned 8 this past Sunday and we went out and took some pictures of her in her baptism dress. My sister made the dress and man is it beautiful! Taylor is so fun loving and is such a great daughter. My daughters adore her, who doesn't right?! I cannot believe she is 8. I remember living with her when she was 1 and watching The Wiggles in the morning with her. {yes, I was a cool aunt and sang along to all the songs}

Taylor, I love you so much. You are so so sweet. I am so proud of who you are and who you are becoming!

I am BACK!!

Night and Day

I did a mini shoot with the Freeman family and we enjoyed ourselves. Even though I spent a small amount of time with them it felt like I got to know them pretty well! These two sister's are Night and Day different. It kinda amazed me. I know my 2 daughter's are different but for some reason it still amazed me.

Such fun and cute kids! Thank you Lori for letting me snap some of your children!! Hopefully you will never go back or want to go back to a studio again, I think Little Man R likes me ;)

A little girl's treasure!

Michele's Father redid her first bike as a little girl so her daughter, Miss E, could use it! I am completely jealous because not only is it an antique but it's an antique with sentimental meaning!! We had fun waving flags, riding bikes, and playing Stick Up.

I think Mr. W warmed up to me a lot more this time around and I loved it! He is such a cutie and loved playing with the guns. I love shooting for this family because they are so relaxed and are true to who they are. Thanks Michele for letting me be apart of your children's fun imagination and capturing their beautiful smiles!

Billy & Cherish + Will = FINALLY!!

Billy & Cherish are life long friends. Well to my husband. He has known them forever, I have been blessed to know them since Clark and I started dating so going on 5 years. I feel like they have been my friend for longer. They are such a great couple and amazing people.

Cherish has wanted a baby for a few years now, heck I have wanted her to have a baby! She put herself through school and is graduating this July just right before Will is suppose to come. She is such an amazing woman!! I can not wait to watch her be a Mother. She is so patient, easy going, fun loving, everything I wish I could be more of.

Cherish, you are gorgeous! Everything about you glows and is beautiful!! I still can't get over how much you radiate right now. Love it. Love you. Love Will!!

Miss A and Company

I took Little Miss A's 6 months pictures back in Jan and so it was due time for a family shoot! Stephanie and Adam are such a beautiful couple and Miss A is adorable. I always have a good time with them. I say Miss A and Co because she pretty much runs the show. But don't all our kids do that at one point?! Mine sure do!

I loved all the photos we got of them, I had to hold back and not post them all. Can't wait to take their photos again and see what this family has in store for them! Thank you Stephanie and Adam for a good time. Couldn't ask for a more beautiful family!!

For the Mother's sake

Like I have stated before I have a partnership with Sew Simply Sweet and recently I took suspender pictures {here} but Katie needed me to do another set that will be featured on Baby Half Off for sell. I got some models together and we went out on a perfect day! It's funny, every time I have a shoot to do for Katie I always get perfect lighting! It's either overcast or just plain perfect!! Some body must have her back, or mine ;)

So for the mother's of these boys I needed to post them for all to see and because let's be honest they are so cute to look at! These boys are down right adorable and I love all their personality. I prepped them on what to wear and their sweet faces are what made the pictures! I love how each boy has his own look. The old school preppy and the now a days trendy look, priceless. If you like the suspenders then get over to her Etsy shop and buy some today! Her prices are really reasonable and you'll love the quality!

Playing Catch {up}

Today is June 1st, can you believe it?! I sometimes let time get away from me and I end up playing catch up. This past week or so has definitely been like that for me.

Here is Baby G. He is so loved, by his sisters, by his mother and father, and by so many others. His Father is also catching up on everything a little boy and him would do! He has 2 girls and Baby G is the first boy. He is thrilled.

July in May

I have partnered up with Sew Simply Sweet and I needed models for her 4th of July outfits so I grabbed my adorably baby girl {not biased here...} and Little Man T and went out. I had bigger plans for this shoot but unfortunately the weather beat us to it. We barely made it in time to get these before it started raining. Aubrey and Tredd didn't know what to do, they were loving the wind and were distracted with each other.

Aren't they adorable?! I can't get enough of them. And I can't get enough of Sew Simply Sweet!!

Last Dance

Peter and Morgan asked me to take their Prom pictures and I couldn't be happier. Morgan is gorgeous and Peter loves to laugh, it was good time! I love how classy they both looked!

Bow Ties and Mustaches

It has been a while! I have been busy planning my {soon to be} 3 year old's birthday party, it was one heck of a party and I can't wait to show you the pictures in the next few days!!

Yesterday I took our Eli and Brody to be my models. I partner up with Sew Simply Sweet and needed to show off her amazing boy bow ties and suspenders. I couldn't resist and bring along some mustaches to add more character to these two boys, not that they need anymore character ;)

3 Boys & a Lady

Our good friends, Trent and Lindsay, are expecting their 2nd boy in the beginning of June and we are so excited for them! They have Luke who is such a stud and will be such a great big brother.

I was able to go to their home and take their pictures. I think Lindsay looks amazing for 35 weeks along and down right gorgeous!!

It has been so fun watching our families grow and to see how much we have changed and will continue to change. Trent and Clark have been friends since Jr. High so the changes they have seen are far more then what Lindsay and I have. I am so glad we are able to hang out and enjoy each other's company.

Here is to baby #2 for the Owens' family. Levi will be so loved and if he is anything like brother he is going to be just another stud in the family!!

Timeless

2 weeks ago this wonderful family started! Little Berlin was born April 14th and I had the opportunity to be there and experience such a heart warming, spiritually uplifting, heart moving atmosphere. Elizabeth chose to place her daughter with a couple who had been trying for 7 years to have a baby but with no luck. Timing couldn't have been more perfect with how both Elizabeth and Josh & Nicola came to start this journey, find their ways to each other, and how it hasn't ended.

It is going to be so rewarding to watch these 3 people love Berlin and see her grow up.
